What FRDC does

Medical services.

Major medical services offered by and through FRDC include orthopedic therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthopedic and plastic surgery, assessment clinics, nursing, x-ray services, laboratory tests and other general medical services.

Empower parents and children through
specifically designed sustainable livelihoods programmes.

ADULT LITERACY: Parents under going an adult literacy class at the centre so that they can learn how to read and write.

 

Hand skills training

 
Parent with the support staff of the center undergoing farm demonstration as a form of a skill he gained in agriculture.

 

Income generating activities

 

 Parents support groups are developed with in the communities where these children come from and thy are taught the Village Savings and Loan Skills. This helps them to support their children hence sustainability.

 

Psycho –social support

 

 

 
One on one counseling is also provided at the center to both the parents and the children by the social workers.
